Me
Born in small town Kentucky, I love writing for everyday folks who never quite fit in... But then find themselves in a subversive, smart, twisted, chilling, emotional, witty, genre stories!
I've written, directed, and/or produced films that have premiered at SXSW, AFF, Houston Black Film Festival, Boss Babes Fest & more. The Unborn and Kelly horror shorts are on Roku's Genre TV. My screenplays have been selected for AFF, Cinestory Features & TV Pilots, Launchpad, Stage 32 Fresh Bloods as well as shortlisted for The Nicholl Fellowship, Sundance Features, Sundance Episodic, & CBS Writers Mentoring Program.
Events
As a former high school film teacher I programmed classic film screenings at the Alamo Drafthouse Ritz then went on to co-found the Austin Youth Film Festival where we program movies made by kids and teens at the Alamo Drafthouse and Blue Star Lite Drive In.
In 2022, I was honored to become a panelist at my favorite happy hour for screenwriters: the Austin Film Festival.
